Whistlestop Café is Back with Treats and Music in Dunnellon

Dunnellon, FL (352today.com) – Whistlestop Café is a recurring café in Greater Dunnellon Historical Societal Train Depot, 12061 S. Williams St, Dunnellon. Guests will have the opportunity to once again indulge in café dishes and listen to live music on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

The café will offer a menu of fried green tomatoes, Cuban sandwiches and desserts in addition to meatloaf sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, hobo stew and more. Food at the café is priced separately and will be served from the opening of the event until 7:30 p.m. Beyond the food, guests can also enjoy a live performance by Reggie Stacy. He will be performing a variety of genres to provide lively entertainment while guests enjoy delectable treats and explore the depot.

For those who enjoy trains and want to learn more about the depot, admission to the event includes entry into the museum and the caboose at the depot. Guests can take an in-depth look at the restored depot while learning more about its history from its origin to the present.

In consideration for gas prices, the museum is offering discounted admission to the event with a cover charge of $10 per adult or $15 for two guests attending together. Learn more about the event, depot and museum at the website linked above.
