MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – This weekend is full of holiday buzz, community, festivals and shows. From annual holiday events to interactive performances, locals will have plenty of fun keeping the weekend active and engaging.

The World Equestrian Center Food & Wine Festival

  • What: Partake in the World Equestrian Center’s 4th annual Ocala Food & Wine Festival where guests will be treated to three days of delectable food, with a grand tasting on the second day. Proceeds will benefit the Public Education Foundation of Marion County ProStart Program. Adults must be 21 years and older to attend and participate in this event.
  • When: Friday, Nov. 7 from 7-10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1-5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Where: The World Equestrian Center Expo Center 1, 1750 NW 80th Ave., Ocala.
  • Cost: Individual Saturday tickets are $135 and individual Sunday tickets are $125 with weekend packages available.

The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show

  • What: This award-winning murder mystery dinner show offers guests the chance to show off their sleuthing skills while enjoying a full-plated dinner at the Ocala Golf Club. As guests begin dining, they will soon realize that a murderer sits among the audience, and they must use detective skills to find the culprit.

  • What: This is the final chance to see the Lo-Fi Theatre Company’s “Rocky Horror Picture Show” at the Marion Theatre where guests can watch an interactive shadowcast performance. Guests will be given a goodie bag with props and a callback cheat sheet and are encouraged to dress up. The show is for ages 16 and older.
