The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier Hits Ocala’s World Equestrian Center

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The world’s best human and equine athletes have been showcasing their talents this week at the World Equestrian Center, as the Longines Federation Equestre Internationale Jumping World Cup Qualifier will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, at WEC’s Grand Outdoor Arena.

The week’s events have found many of the sport’s top athletes, both human and equine chasing FEI World Cup points with their sights set on the prestigious FEI World Cup Final. set to take place April 8-12 in Fort Worth, Texas. This week’s series is part of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup North American League 2025/2026.

Saturday’s classes feature the $62,500 1.50m speed CSI5*-W and the $300,000 1.60m CSI5*-W Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Ocala presented by MARS Equestrian. The gates open at 4 p.m. and the first horse goes for the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup at 7 p.m. There are still general admission tickets and select hospitality offerings available.

Many of the world’s top riders have been competing this week in Ocala including Ben Maher, GBR, no. 3 in the standings, Richard Vogel, Germany, no. 6, Nina Mallevaey, France, no. 8, Daniel Coyle, Ireland, no. 9 and McClain Ward, U.S.A., no. 10.

Maher and the 15-year-old KWPN mare Ginger Blue, owned by Jane Forbes Clark, captured the $117,000 1.55M CSI5*-W Qualifier for Longines FEI Jumping World Cup presented by Ethel M Chocolates on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.

Friday’s classes include the $32,000 Wild Horse Refuge Grand Prix Qualifier CSI2* and the $62,000 1.50m Winning Round CSI5*-W.

The week wraps up Sunday Feb. 15, with the $65,000 Wild Horse Refuge Grand Prix and the $40,000 National Grand Prix.
