SUMMERFIELD, FL (352today.com) – A pavement preservation treatment of a roadway surface in south Marion County may cause some delays and motorists should proceed through the area with caution.
Starting Aug. 13, pavement preservation work along Buena Vista Boulevard extending from County Road 42 to the Marion County Line will begin. Crews and equipment will be at the site of the roadway surface from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is expected to be completed Aug. 14, weather permitting, according to the Marion County Office of the County Engineer.
Temporary single lane closures will be in place throughout the corridor to allow for safe and efficient operations.
Commuters should expect delays and may wish to take alternate routes. Crews will place barricades and signs directing traffic through the work zone.
