THE VILLAGES, FL (352today.com) – Get into the Christmas spirit at what The Villages Model Train Club (TVMTC) is calling the largest free Christmas train show in Florida.

Beginning Thursday, Dec. 7, don your favorite conductor’s cap and experience every gauge of model train. The rooms at the Colony Cottage Rec Center will be filled with trains from Lionel, American Flyer, Marx, Bachmann, and LG.

And, of course, there will be villages dotted throughout the Colony with scenes from Plasticville, Dept. 56, Dickens Village, and many more.

This show is for all ages and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be “on board” to greet them all.

“Get your ‘young’ on and enjoy all of the fun with us,” said Allen Farrell from TVMTC invitingly.

Farrell says more than 7,500 people from all over central Florida attended last year’s event.

The event runs Thursday, Dec. 7 through Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and Sunday, December 10 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Villages Christmas Model Train Show returns for another FREE event.
