UPDATE: Missing and Endangered: Man Wanders Off from Treatment Center

OCKLAWAHA, FL (352today.com) – A man who was at a treatment center in southeastern Marion County has wandered off from facility.

Update: Sept. 25, 8:03 a.m., Madison has been located and he is safe.

Timothy Madison, 72, is considered missing and endangered. He suffers from mental illness and law enforcement is concerned for his well-being.

He was last seen at The Refuge at 14835 SE 85th St. in Ocklawaha on Sept. 24, 2025. He left on foot, and it’s thought he may be heading west in the direction of the Ocklawaha River, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Madison is 5 foot eight inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, has brown eyes and is bald.
