OCALA, FL (352today.com) – February is nigh, which means that soon, cupid’s arrow will be flying, and love will bloom all over Central Florida. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful stroll through gardens, an adrenaline-filled adventure or a whimsical night of live shows and entertainment, the 352 has something to make your Valentine’s Day extra special.

Outdoor & Park Experiences

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens – Gainesville

Take a leisurely stroll through Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, wandering among themed gardens and winding walking paths. It’s a perfect place to stop, take pictures or just hold hands (or paws with your furry friend) and enjoy the blooms together.

The gardens, located at 4700 SW 58th Dr., are open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Thursdays. Admission to the gardens is $12 for adults, $7 for children aged 5-13 and are free for children under 5. Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome.

Winter Guided Hikes at Rainbow Springs State Park – Dunnellon

Get your hearts pumping with guided hikes through Rainbow Springs State Park. Explore sparkling springs, lush trails and local wildlife–a refreshing way to celebrate love in the great outdoors.

The hike begins at 10 a.m. on Feb. 14 in front of the Visitors Center of the park, located at 19158 SW 81st Pl. Event hosts urge participants to wear closed-toed shoes and bring water. Hikes are weather permitting. The Rainbow Springs State Park Ranger Station can be contacted at (352) 465-8555 for questions or additional information.

Sholom Park – Ocala

Stroll hand-in-hand through Sholom Park‘s tranquil pathways, scenic ponds and shaded woodlands. A quiet, serene spot perfect for couples who love nature and peaceful moments together.

The park is located at 19200 U.S. Hwy 27 and is open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission.

Valentine’s Day Moonlight Paddle – Dunnellon

Glide under the moon on a romantic guided paddle along the Rainbow River. Roses, light refreshments and safety equipment are included – a dreamy, Valentine’s experience.

Cirque Ma’Ceo – Ocala

Experience a fusion of horsemanship and acrobatics with Cirque Ma’Ceo, performing in Ocala for a limited engagement from Feb. 13-22, presented by Top of the World Communities. The show combines stunts, choreography and horses for a unique and unforgettable Valentine’s outing.

The cirque tent will be located at 8405 SW 80th St. with shows at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 14. Tickets are available for purchase at their website.

Downtown Vintage Market – Ocala

Browse handmade goods, vintage finds and local treasures at this festive market. Perfect for those who love exploring and finding unique Valentine’s Day surprises.

The market will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 151 SE Osceola Ave. at Citizen’s Circle with free admission.

Girls Night Out – Ocala

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Ocala Downtown Market with Girls Night Out. Browse nearly 100 Central Florida women-owned businesses, enjoy local food trucks and themed drinks and live music from DJ Rae Bae spinning girl-power anthems and love songs. There will also be free photo ops, giveaways and self-care activities such as chair massages, henna tattoos and more. A perfect way to treat you and your besties.

The event is located at the Ocala Downtown Market at 403 SE Osceola Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Little Shop of Horrors Live at Ocala Civic Theatre – Ocala

Sink your thorns into a quirky, cult-classic musical showing live at the Ocala Civic Theatre. “Little Shop of Horrors” tells the story of a lovable misfit and his man-eating plant with plenty of over-the-top laughs and catchy tunes. It’s a perfect outing for anyone who likes theatrical chaos on their date night.

Love, Bites and Beats – Ocala

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with live music, dancing, food trucks, sweet treats, flowers and entertainment at Circle Square Commons. Explore local vendors and delicious food, then dance along to The Sweet Talkers from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event is located at 2700 SW 27th Ave. from 3 to 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public with weather permitting.

Ocala Drive-In – Ocala

Snuggle up at the classic drive-in movie theater for films under the stars. Nostalgic, cozy and oh-so-romantic.

The theater is located at 2800 SW 27th Ave. Information for movies and showtimes are available on their website. Showtimes and prices vary, and tickets are only available at the gate.
