City of Ocala Accepting Applications from Nonprofits for 2027 Street Banner Lottery

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The City of Ocala Public Works Traffic Division is accepting applications for its annual street banner lottery for the 2027 calendar year.

According to the city, eligible nonprofit organizations may apply through Aug. 1 to reserve one of two city banner locations for one-week display periods during 2027.

The banner locations are on the 1100 block of E. Silver Springs Blvd. and the 1300 block of W. Silver Springs Blvd.

Applications are available in person at the City of Ocala Public Works Traffic Division office, located at 1805 NE 30th Ave., Building 300, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Organizations may also request applications electronically by fax by first calling 352-351-6733, or digitally by emailing pubworks@ocalafl.gov. City officials said banner reservations are available exclusively to nonprofit organizations and are awarded through an annual lottery process.
