Pioneer Women’s History Days

  • What: Fort King is back for another year of women’s history with the Florida Frontiersmen Ladies Group. This weekend will be filled with demonstrations, games, educational opportunities and more. The event will feature historic fashion displays, cabin living, traditional cooking methods, quilting, basket weaving and more. There will also be handmade crafts available for purchase from vendors in historical attire.
  • When: Friday-Saturday, March 20-21 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Southeastern Pro Rodeo

  • What: The Southeastern Pro Rodeo is back for another year of high-energy performances and fascinating skills. Competitions will include breakaway roping, saddle bronc and bareback riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding. The first night has a theme of Wrangler Kid’s Night at the Rodeo while Saturday has a theme of Wrangler Bucking Cancer Awareness Night at the Rodeo.
  • When: Friday-Saturday, March 20-21 starting at 5:30 p.m. First show begins at 7:30 p.m.
