Roads to Wishes

  • What: Road to Wishes is back for another year of exciting truck shows. Guests will get to see a line-up of customized big rigs from various parts of the country. Local food trucks will have plenty to offer for delectable bites while families can experience the kids’ activities, pony rides, truck burnouts and more with live music to keep the evening spirits high. The goal of this show is to reach $90,000 to support Make-A-Wish and make nine kids’ wishes come true.

Miscast Cabaret

  • What: The Star Center Theatre invites guests to watch as cast members of the theatre are placed in roles for which they wouldn’t traditionally be cast. Actors will perform musical theatre numbers of different ages, genders and types for a fresh interpretation of characters in a high-energy, humor-filled show. Proceeds from the production will go to those travelling with the theatre to New York in the summer.

  • What: Partake in or enjoy a BBQ competition with trophies, cash and other prizes on the line in a fiery show of cooking craftsmanship. The third annual Blues & BBQ Show will feature a friendly competition and a classic car show for exciting entertainment. Vendors will be placed around the area for shopping desires and kids’ activities to keep children engaged. Blues music will be playing all day with the festivities.

  • What: The year marks the third annual Brick City Bluegrass Festival, a day of live music shared with the community. Nationally recognized and local artists will be performing bluegrass music live with food trucks on site for a filling snack or meal. Guests are recommended to bring chairs and blankets for comfortable seating.
